New Product Launch- The Tanita BC-545N Segmental Body Composition Monitor

At Tanita we are proud to have developed the world’s first stand-on Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) body fat monitor in 1991.  Our team is always working hard to develop new products, ensuring that we offer a wide portfolio of professional and home-use products that are renowned for being the most accurate and reliable and that meet our customers’ requirements.

This month saw the launch of our newest segmental body composition monitor, the Tanita BC 545N.  This new monitor uses advanced BIA technology to analyse body composition, calculating your body fat, muscle mass, hydration level, metabolic rate, visceral fat and bone mass.

The segmental BIA analysis provides an in-depth breakdown of each body segment – namely your arms, legs and abdominal area – allowing you to specifically track changes to your body fat and muscle mass in targeted areas to aid your training and progression.

Incorporating a body composition monitor into your training regime will give you a real insight into what your body is made of and how it responds to diet and exercise. With this information, you can change your diet and fitness programme to make sure you get the best possible results and even help prevent injury.

The BC-545N records your vital statistics in a matter of seconds, with all readings shown on an easy-to-read colour graphic display on the hand-held console. It is easy to use and features auto-recognition, so that you don’t have to input your details every time you step on, helping to save time so that you can focus on your training regime.

  1. Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The text in your post seem to be running off the screen in Chrome.
I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you
know. The design and style look great though!
Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Thanks
